In Search of Logic, or The Great Curiosity of Inspector Tamoshé – the first cinematic chef-d’œuvre of the Sidabrinės Karūnos Teatras (The Silver Corwn Theatre), a silent detective film created on a zero budget, shot in the most beautiful Art Deco interiors of Kaunas, Lithuania. It is the first of two films in the Inspector Tamoshé adventure series, full of absurdity, Agatha Christie’s style tropes, and the sheer joy of creation.

Plot
The chief inspector of the Well-Known City, Mr. Tamoshé (Jurgis Kubilius), is informed about a gruesome crime, from none other than the Country’s President Downé! Together with constable Louis Baguetté (Danielius Skučas) and forensic expert Vikita Vaitkevichenko (Augustė Saladytė), the Inspector investigates the scene—a museum hosting a visiting conference from the University of Saint Peterburger. Five professors are questioned, and an absurd coincidence offers a clue...
