Herbariumas

Something cozy, songful, and simply beautiful — a song cycle based on Kazys Binkis’s floral triolets Utos. In these songs, Renaissance-like intonations rejoice in the unexpected blooming of tulips; the blue of cornflowers shimmers in pentatonic ; the symbol of rūta (rue) is evoked through folk-song motifs; and poppies, glimmering as if in paradise, are praised through a fast-paced quotation from Gregorian chant.
